Abstract Sculpture
Oregon (Pseudotsuga menziesii)
After seeing different abstract sculptures, Henry decided to try his hand at sculpturing but only using his preferred, medium of timber. This abstract sculpture was made from Oregon that was destined to become firweood, After cutting, shaping and sanding, is was then torched with a butane gas flame to give a burnt look. Henry then sanded the piece once more and finished it with three coats of Danish oil.
