Weeping Myrtle (Agonis flexuosa)
Timber for this piece was obtained from Henry's neighbour's Weeping Myrtle. After turning and hollow forming, the piece was extensively pierced, producing a myriad of different voids, shapes and spiny fingers. It was then carved, sanded, stained and polished with Danilsh Oil. The original log was destined for the firewood pile.
