Frilled Neck Lizards are know for the frill around their neck. Living in the warmer climate in northern Australia and southern New Guinea, its colours enable camouflage and can give the appearance of tree bark. When frightened or for territorial displays and during courtship, it spreads out its frill and gapes its mouth displaying bright orange and red scales.
