Trevor Newman is a respected professional artist and teacher, mentor and judge. His artworks reflect an ongoing interest and experimentation in exploring the possibilities of affecting the canvas with traditional and contemporary techniques and processes to enhance the subject in its presentation.
 
Trevor utilises light, colour and texture, multi media and the disciplines aligned with traditional, painting to produce varied, interesting, thought provoking, unique and sensitively created portraits. He aims to keep and promote the principles of traditional realist painting alive and relevant in today’s contemporary art scene.
